On Saturday the 7th Of November at 5.30pm, 10 Jazz bands will battle it out to take home the big prize money.

Registration is accepted by all Jazz and Blues bands and Duos, however there is a maximum of 10 bands to enter the battle, so it is recommended that if you wish to enter, you contact the co-ordinator of this event as soon as possible.

The prize money for this event is:-

1st place -  $3000.00
2nd place - $  500.00
3rd place -  $  300.00

There is a small fee of $40.00 to compete.


People wishing to be entertained by being an audience member, are more then welcome to come along and cheer on the bands.

The battle will be held at the Ardlethan Recreational Centre with an entry fee of:

Adults - $5.00
16 years and under - free

Gates open at 5.00pm

Please bring a chair or picnic blanket to enjoy in comfort. There will be food and drink stores available.

Please be aware that this is a family event and as the law states, NO under age drinking is allowed, so parents it is asked that you accompany your children.
